Teddy Bear Picnic Returns to Flint

By August 30, 2023Events

The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Teddy Bear Picnic is a free community event created to help children understand the importance of health and wellbeing and provide a fun, safe environment for them to interact with doctors, health care providers and first responders.

Children are encouraged to bring a favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal for a wellness check-up with physicians and students from MSU’s health colleges. Join us at MSU College of Human Medicine’s annual Teddy Bear Picnic in Flint! Enjoy this free, fun-filled afternoon of games, giveaways, therapy dogs, flu vaccines and much more.

Each child is invited to bring a favorite stuffed animal for a wellness check-up with physicians and students from MSU’s health colleges.

Teddy Bear Donations

Please help us collect new & gently used stuffed animals for the kids.  We have boxes placed on the first & second floors of the CHM building, and we now have collection boxes at Somerset Salon & Day Spa on Miller Road and at the Mott Park Club House on Nolen Drive.

We are collecting toys until Friday, September 8th.

The Flint Registry offices are closed for the holiday. We will return after the weekend and respond as quickly as we can.

Thank you for your patience!
