Flint, MI – We are excited to announce our upcoming event, “Healthy Eats and Happy Feets,” hosted by Asbury Community Development Corporation with the help of the MSU-Hurley Pediatric Public Health Initiative (PPHI). Healthy Eats and Happy Feets is a vibrant celebration that brings together the community for a day of health, happiness, and connection. This event will take place this Friday at Asbury Church, 1653 Davison Road, from 2-6PM.
Event Highlights:
- Nutritious Delights: Attendees will get to enjoy a live food demonstration and a chance to assist in making a delicious and nutritious meal
- Food Package Giveaway: We are excited to partner with the Michigan Food Bank of Eastern Michigan to give away packages of essential meal items.
- Dance and Move: A lively dance lesson from Heart of Worship Dance Studio for kids and adults of all ages
- Live Music: Live music performances from Folk singer Dan Hall and a drum lesson
- Adventure Zone: A water slide and bounce house to cool off and enjoy an active, engaging experience.
- Community Engagement: “Healthy Eats and Happy Feets” is proud to collaborate with esteemed organizations like Mother of Joy, the Crim Foundation, MTA, and others, who share our commitment to promoting wellness and building a stronger community.
