Flint, MI – The Flint Registry is proud to sponsor the 4th Annual Flint 6k. The event partners with World Vision’s clean water initiatives in the developing world and makes a contribution to the Flint Kids Fund.
The Flint 6k is Saturday, May 21st at Chevy Commons! 6k is the average distance people walk in the developing world to access water (which is often unclean).
Each 6k registration provides clean water to one person in the developing world through World Vision, and the Flint 6k makes a donation to the Flint Kids Fund. Register today and be a part of a local and global movement for good!
Join us at 10:00a on Saturday, May 21st at Chevy Commons in Flint. If you can’t make it in person, you can still register and run/walk in your neighborhood, park, track, or wherever you like. Together, we’ll make a positive impact near and far. Your race kit (shirt, bib, and medal) is shipped directly to you. Registry by Monday, May 16 to get your kit in time for the race (you can register after May 16, you shirt, bib, and medal may just arrive after the event).
The start and finishing line will be located between Tenacity and Factory Two on the Chevy Commons pathways. The route is all new pathways and stroller friendly. Parking is available at the two Chevy Commons parking lots and surrounding street parking.
The Good Beans Cafe and Tenacity are opening for special hours during the event. Blueline Donuts is providing donut holes at the finish line.
Thank you to fellow sponsors Blueline Donuts, First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Genesee County Parks, and the Good Beans Cafe for ensuring that the Flint 6k is able to make a local impact through the Flint Kids Fund.
